Very easy, just download the zip from Katalon studio site by an simple signup à extract and à double click Katalon studio exe and you are good to go.
Working with Android pre-requisite
You need to have
Android SDK downloaded and AVD created
Android home path set

Hi. How to add the emulator to katalon. I have installed the android SDK and some avd. Then set home path. but when i opened katalon, the list local device still blank
Hi Karthik, thanks for your post! I’ve used Katalon Studio recently and found it really helpful, especially for newbies. In addition, Katalon also offers Mobile Record and Playback for iOS 🙂

Why can’t I customize the path of the local androidSDK?
Katalon studio told me that I had to install androidSDK in the C:\ directory.
Yes, its currently hard coded with Katalon and its one of its requirement.
