In this post we will discuss about Team foundation server 2015 web in greater detail. Until last post we discuss TFS only from Visual studio team explorer, whereas in this post we will introduce about TFS web along with some of the features which Team explorer dont have.

Planning and tracking the progress of your software development project is simple when you use Team Foundation Server’s (TFS) web portal
The URL to access the TFS web portal will be

http:// ServerName :8080/tfs/ CollectionName/ProjectName The web portal connects you to the team project defined for a team project collection on TFS

- Builds
- Test efforts
- Machines
- Test runs

Configuring permissions

With TFS web one can easily configure and manage the permissions of

Team etc
