Creating items links and advanced operations with excel in TFS

In the last post we discussed how to work with work items, in this post we will discuss with working with item links and working with PBI from Excel sheet.

Creating item Links

Item link acts as a sub item for an item. It looks something like this

Purpose of item links

Using Item links, we can create my item links such as

• Related work item
• Bug
• Test case
• Changeset etc

Editing item with excel sheet

We can also edit our work item with excel sheet, so that large set of work items can be modified or created easily.
